Privacy at XIONA

Your data, explained in plain language.

A service platform needs context to work. This overview explains what XIONA handles, why it is needed and the choices available to you.

Information we handle

We process the information needed to create an account, request or provide a service, communicate about a booking and keep a reliable service record.

This may include identity and contact details, service descriptions, addresses, messages, status history, support requests and technical information about how the platform is used. Payment credentials should be handled by an approved payment provider rather than stored directly by XIONA.

Why we use it

Data is used to operate the marketplace, match requests with suitable experts, manage accounts and bookings, prevent abuse, support customers and experts, improve reliability and meet legal obligations.

Where local law requires a specific legal basis, XIONA will identify it in the notice presented for that market and processing activity.

Who can receive it

Booking information is shared only with the customer, expert and service providers who need it to complete or support the journey. This can include hosting, communication, identity, fraud-prevention and payment partners.

We do not sell personal data. Market-specific information about subprocessors and international transfers will be made available where required.

Retention and protection

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the service, security, dispute handling, accounting and applicable legal requirements. Retention periods can vary by data type and market.

Access controls, encrypted transport, activity records and least-privilege practices are part of the intended protection model. No online service can promise absolute security, so reports of suspected misuse should be sent promptly.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain uses of your information. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis.

Use the privacy request form to start a request. We may need to verify identity before releasing or changing account information.

Market-specific notices

The XIONA experience is designed for multiple countries. The contracting entity, responsible controller, complaint route and any additional local disclosures will be shown before live services become available in a market.

If a local notice conflicts with this overview, the market-specific notice takes priority.
