XIONA service terms

Clear rules for a trusted service journey.

These core principles explain the relationship between customers, independent experts and the XIONA platform.

Last reviewed 10 August 2026

The platform

XIONA provides technology for customers to request services and for independent experts to review, accept and manage suitable work. Unless market-specific terms say otherwise, XIONA is not the provider performing the underlying service.

The contracting entity and exact service model for a live market will be shown before a binding transaction is created.

Accounts and eligibility

Account information must be accurate and kept secure. Customers and experts must have legal capacity to use the service and meet any age, licensing, insurance or identity requirements that apply to their role and market.

Expert access may be limited or removed when verification expires, safety information changes or platform standards are not met.

Requests, scope and pricing

A request should describe the job accurately, including conditions that materially affect safety, time or price. Estimates are not final unless explicitly labelled as fixed.

The final scope, applicable fees, taxes and payment timing should remain visible before confirmation. Material changes require renewed agreement between the parties.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation rules can vary by service, timing and market. The applicable rule is presented with the booking before confirmation and remains attached to its service record.

Refunds, credits and expert compensation depend on the confirmed scope, work already performed and mandatory consumer law.

Safety and acceptable use

Users must not misuse the platform, evade safeguards, harass others, request illegal work or provide misleading qualifications. Urgent danger should be reported to local emergency services, not handled through routine XIONA support.

XIONA may investigate reports, preserve relevant records and restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect people or the platform.

Responsibility and local law

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. Any limits of responsibility, dispute process, governing law and mandatory cooling-off rights will be defined in the terms for the operating market.

Market-specific terms take priority over this global overview where they differ.
